Nuance Announces Winners of Successful Dragon NaturallySpeaking User Contest

Nuance introduced the contest in support of Dragon NaturallySpeaking’s ten-year anniversary to encourage users to share their personal stories about how Dragon has improved their lives.
A testament to Dragon’s broad reach and impact on those who use it, the contest responses were overwhelming, with literally hundreds of Dragon NaturallySpeaking users submitting unique and exciting stories. People from all walks of life – college students, novelists, teachers, artists, grandmothers and grandfathers, veterans, doctors, poets, genealogists, bloggers, lawyers – submitted amazing stories of improved productivity, creativity, and just plain fun, using Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
Three winning entries – in the categories of Most Creative Use, Greatest Productivity Gain, and Greatest Personal Impact – were selected by a panel of judges from the hundreds of exceptional stories received, and Nuance is pleased to announce the following UK winners:
- Greatest Personal Impact – Ian Ellson, Holywell
Ian is dyslexic, which hindered his professional progress, until Dragon was recommended by a friend. This transformed his life, both professionally and personally, boosting his confidence and removing the communication barriers that hindered his progress in the past. Since using Dragon, he has completed two universities degrees.
